#REF!

Overview
The aerodynamic properties of this propeller have been designed to have a “constant speed” effect. The blades that are made from unidirectional layers of carbon fiber prepeg epoxy and their structure has been defined in order to obtain the maximum stresses in torsion and bending. Therefore the effect of “constant speed” is not related to the deformation of the blade but its geometry and its particular profile.
Because of the extra flat profile and low chord, excellent performance is obtained in both: Aerodynamic and acoustic performance, but also in fuel consumption.
Thanks to the “constant speed” effect, there is very small engine speed difference between the aircraft on ground and in flight.
This propeller allows for excellent performance throughout the flight envelope including:
Improved efficiency at takeoff and climb rate due to higher engine speed
Many cruise extension
A high user comfort
Propeller is available in Two-Blade and Three-Blade.
For engines with high power, its structure can be reinforced (SWIRL-R).
The Inconel SWIRL blade is protected with Inconel metallic reinforcement. It increases the life of the propeller and also its performance due to a change in its inertial behavior.
Available Diameter:
059.8″, 063.8″, 065.4″, 068.1″
Weight:
– Two-blade Standard SWIRL 068.1″ (6.00 lb)
– Three-blade Standard SWIRL 068.1″ (8.00 lb)
– Two-blade Inconel SWIRL 068.1″ (6.17 lb)
– Three-blade Inconel SWIRL 068.1″ (8.27 lb)
Carbone Forge® hub
The hub of the propeller is manufactured using the patented Carbon Forged®. Made from layers of inidirectional carbon fiber epoxy prepregs, it saves the weight while having outstanding mechanical strength.

Description

Realized entirely out of carbon fibers, the Turbo spinner DUC 08.3″ and 09.8″ were studied and developed to support the cooling of the engine.
Very adapted in the case of engines with air cooling, it limits the variations in temperature engine between takeoff to full mode and the flight in cruising, but also in statics or on a taxiway.

Adaptable to any type of engine generating a slight overheating regardless of its direction of rotation (Rotax, Continental, Limbach…), it is oriented for use on 4-stroke engines.

In two-bladed or three-bladed version, the carbon fiber deflectors were placed around each foot of blade to allow an air admission in the entries of the engine cowling in statics and dynamics.
These deflectors adapt perfectly on the DUC spinner 08.3″ or 09.8″.
The mounting plate, out of carbon fibers, is produced with the Carbone Forge® process for a higher mechanical resistance.
